Bamboo Forest by haohaohayashi Bamboo Forest by haohaohayashi
My entertainment design portfolio is based on Lewis Carrol's famous book Alice and Wonderland. I chose this story for the topic of my portfolio because I found it a story that was open to interpretation as well as a place full or surreal quality.
In my Alice in Wonderland, everything is "Asian-ized", which brings an interesting twist to things.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eh...it's in the Alice in Wonderland Portfolio...but in reality, I never really saw this piece as a part of it.
It looks too...normal? Nothing weird or fancy is going on.

On the side note, this painting helped me get a better grasp on the wet brush and the pastel brush in Painter

And the miracles behind burn and dodge tool were discovered as well.

Done in Painter X/Photoshop Cs2

Nice painting ^^
I can't paint like that TT

I just want to let you know I'm using your painting for a background for my wall (just one part of it at least)...
Sorry I didn't ask permission before but I just jokingly tried to use this image as background and it turn out pretty nice (for me at least)

If you don't want me to use it just comment on my wall and I'll remove it immediately

here's the link

I was trying to go for pure roughness, like in a speedpaint.
Sadly, I can't "speed"paint.
