-stories--are very interesting and sometimes...very addicting.
-cleanliness--very easy on the eyes very simple to understand
-cute--yea...I, a dude, admit that those girls can be pretty cute w/ them big eyes
-japanese--i get to learn some YIPEE!
What i don't like:
-i know that it's popular and all, but uhh...i think it's a bit overhyped on devArt? XP i mean ppl get tons of favs and all for some fanart that to me...doesn't take alot of time and effort and are WAY TOO SIMPLE.
-to me, the styles getting a bit redundant, and some plots as well. I tend to read mangas that have plots that are very different as well as their drawing styles (one piece, deathnote).
Why i don't draw too anime-ish (if, in ur opinion, i do draw anime at all)
-errr...dont be offended ANYONE haha i think its a bit.......easy? xP
-blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...its boring to draw because....
again...i think its too....easy? ><-unless it's anime like [link] or [link] and wat i really like is stuff more like [link] [link] [link] ...unless its stuff like this, i tend to hav some sorta bias over it...sure...
i'm a bit jealous too i'll throw that one in
LOL but u guys (the majority of anime drawers) get sooo many watches!!! O_O its amazing! i'm was really bewildered when i finally began to take notice of it.-ppl tend to ONLY draw anime, its like as if...thats the only thing they can draw ): i'm just a bit disappointed that the majority appear to be that way.
-fanart ppl seem a bit...less creative is all...and redundant in what they draw...which again is a disappointment.
I'm disappointed because i wish more 'artists' would either try something different, draw harder things once in a while, or put thinking into their pieces such as compositions, coloring (those fanart ppl got the colors down though), creativity, concept, etc. bleh i don't know that much art stuff actually ^^

yeah its sorta kinda pointless in art, drawing over someone else's creation over and over again when u can take it so much further and create ur own.

for example...when ur teacher's lesson is surely boring, pull out the pencil and go crazy!
As for the faving thing, that makes me so angry. How is it possilbe that artists with a 5 minute sketch with some color slapped on it in anime has many more favs than someone more deserving of them because he or she has a style that is not anime or manga based? I watch many artists with few favs or watchers but a great talent and style. Its sickening sometimes.
BTW, I found you via a group and your art is quite a refresher. A lot of detail in you pen pieces
